Timer

Time controlled playback of cue lists

  • duration: give the total duration of the show in the format hr:mi:se. This affects the display of the total time progress bar.
  • clock source: either internal or from a slot which must hold an AudioPlayer. If this slot is used, the timer clock is derived from the playback of the current audio file.
timer
To edit a timer sequence click on the step list while the timer is not running.
Make sure that the timer control is set to "on" and the state is "running" for every step in which the timer should control the playback. Select the step, set the controls and click "keep" to save the state into the cue in the timer cuelist.
The situation is somewhat complicated since the timer controls the recall of the cues, but every cue holds timer settings as well. The advantage of this setup is the great flexibility.
To check the cue and edit errors click on "edit steplist" to open the step window.
The timer uses the absolute time given in the format hr:mi:se for cue control. These controls can be set:
  • timer control button: this arms the timer for take over the progress of steps in the CueCounter.
  • start with: which step should be used when the timer is started. This allows to mix periods with and without timer control.
